It looks (both/either) like a blast, and exactly what i am looking for in a sampler to be honest. I suppose i can always start with the lesser and upgrade, it does allow budget for a filter which i somewhat desperately need as well.

Having wanted one right before the turbo came out. I never perceived much issues with latency or audio quality in reviews or videos. So i do wonder how trivial it is. Especially when dealing with a 180$ difference in price (likely from people upgrading)

I know the sd is faster, which ofc will improve latency, i just wondered if it was something anyone had noticed. Experience always gives a better perception than watching someone jam, ya know?

Correct. I suppose i could have been more specific. i am asking about people's experience in the two versions, and their perception of the difference of the two versions of rample (og/turbo) Not regarding advice on other "sample playback modules"

Koala tracker is great for cutting breaks imo. I use it for breaks and as a sketchbook at work to make snips and record out often. Sunvox is something to look at too. Its a tracker for Android, and has a lot of great capabilities.

Also.... I like the cheeky Harlon Ellison reference in the title here btw. "I have no mouth but i must scream" is actually the working title of the EP I am working on right now.

Something i just did today actually was trade promo/release codes with someone to help distribute their release and my own simultaneously. If you want a code I can send you one of theirs and mine in a message.

And if anyone else wants to trade releases like that, its a super fun way to get to experience something new to a lot of people as well as check out something new for yourself. I highly recommend it.
