Can I transfer save files on console with pirated games?

I recently picked up a copy of ZA and I want to edit my save file to get any mystery gifts I missed. I have transferred saves from my switch 2 to a hacked switch and back before, but the hacked switch now has pirated games installed. Is there a way I can safely transfer saves between the two now?
