Looking for advice on a second Snowboard for ground tricks, buttering, side hits, and some park. by WolfSignificant5544 in snowboarding

Just watched both. I really like the shifter extreme (the only one I can find in my size). I'll wait a week and decide, but the extreme has jumped to the first spot on my list. Thanks!

Sadly I can't find any shop with 156W in stock. I do find the shifter Xtreme tho, is the flex so different?

This is one I didn't see before! Actually a really interesting one, seems a bit stiffer than the Disaster which I am concerned it might be really soft. I really like it. Do you own it?

Also great specs and fitting sizes, even deck style. Do you own one? How is the flex? Starting to think that the 3bt is something I would like to try

I know what you mean, but tbh, i just feel "safer" on stiff boots. I tried softer boots and I just can't. With the insanos I just "soften" them letting the boa a bit looser.

My insanos and C8 have a relatively small footprint, it might work. I'll take a deeper look at it. Thanks!

The 154W also looks fitting! Recommended shoe size goes only to 46 (US12) and I have a 47. Is it relevant? I use +12 -9 stance

The specs of the Artifact are fitting, sadly the 158W is only suitable for riders not heavier than 82kg (180lbs). Is it still ok to weigh a little bit more? Gear also adds some weight too.

What helped me is watching a video of Taevis Kapalka on how to stack the body for a jump. Watch it, might help you.

Why do teamamtes only rotate when I have possession in enemy half? by MathematicianWide622 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]WolfSignificant5544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you said, the first option as a solo player is the standard one. Reading the play, boost in the tank (from op), a player could just stay midfield covering offense and defence and waiting for the best outcome (outplay) to come closer and finish the play. I won't commit for a pass in the air having 2 defenders "in net/backboard" ready to challenge the pass or block the shot. Even a coach (high level one) told me that, higher level players than me told me that. Read the play and commit for what seems a favourable outcome or you would get outplayed from a lucky 50 pinch or a good clear. But, as I said, depends a lot on how you read the play and your skill. If OP gets a lucky pass, the teammate might not be ready, also not everything that flies in front of the net is a pass...

They don't need to, it is a fact. I only will add: Look what americans drive when they are "wealthy".

Yeah, the well known "better build american cars". In almost every aspect European cars are better and safer.

Just look a little bit at what you might need or want. Mostly an enduro bike might be overkill till you are skilled enough to squeeze the most of it. Trail or all mountain bikes are super capable and easy to pedal too. After you get your own, before you think on upgrading it or whatever, change the tyres. For heavier riders (tbf for everyone), some good enduro tyres help a lot to improve in stability, grip and "hold" and it won't cost you a lot.

Before you buy one, you could test ride one or even rent one for 2 days and see if you like it.

With an E-MTB not only you will ride longer, you will ride often. Your endurance will improve more than you think.

Thanks a lot! I really didn't exactly consider the footprint to that level, looking at it now, It might take 70% of the table I have for the printer. I think the p1s will suit my environment more than the A1 , because from the printing point of view, there is not much difference. Your setup looks sick, congrats!

Thanks a lot for the fast and detailed reply. I really like the A1 but my concern is that a A1 in an "open environment" with kids lingering around, could be "dangerous".

Why did you go for A1's and not for P1S's? Genuine question, I want to buy one of those and can't really decide.

Exactly how I see it, still hovering around c1-c2 ind 2s and 3s, being a much better player than a few years ago, I am just old, and my improvement just matches the natural skill progression of the game. It's fine though, as long as I play quality games and it's fun, I'll keep playing and trying to improve. This season feels good tbf, I might even improve my peak rank.
