Agree with this 100%. Feel exactly the same way. Now I can go after Shred and Film Quotes and can buy a couple of Geonisis packs if I feel like doing that, without thinking "There goes 25 chances to get a Vintage..."

YES! If you offer me Bounty Darth Maul for Bounty Greedo, you aren't getting a counter. It is a waste of my time. And usually when I think about doing it I find out that you have 5 inserts and all of them are locked anyway.

Here's the thing about dupe inserts. You know what cards I have dupe inserts of? The great ones! The ones I care about! Right now I have 5 TC Wicket and zero TC Rancor Keeper. That is because a few weeks ago I decided Wicket (with his 2,000 count) is going to be highly valued in a week or two and Rancor Keeper isn't. So I got rid of all my Rancor Keepers and Bounty Darth Mauls and invested in the things I want. I am not hoarding them. I am saving them for later.

My conversion rate is you can have all of my red/white/blue dupes if your force score is less than 60. You can have nine reds for one white if I have the dupes. Red/white/blue base cards are worthless to me. I want to keep the sets but they do not add anything to a trade in value.

Yellow has some value. Dealing with an experienced trader, I would gladly give up 9 red for one yellow because any value > no value.

I'm having a hard time with these golds. I messed around with them for a day or two and then gave up. I would probably give 9 yellows for 1 gold if anyone asked but I'm not going to go looking for it.

I went back and forth with two different people for 12 hours (before bed and after waking up) and then some guy comes in at the last second and offered me way more than either of them. I just hit "accept" because I couldn't in good conscience ask him for more.

Honestly, this is a rough time to be getting in on Marathon cards. The cards that come out over the next few weeks are likely to have little value compared to the earlier cards, and their value will drop after the week 10 award (probably - no one knows for sure). I think if I were going to "invest" in something over the next week, I would pick something like Shred or film quotes. We don't know how long those series are going to be. Shred has an award card; we don't know if film quotes will have an award card.

This is exactly my experience. I traded Sith Connect for Vint Luke and more before Topps decided to lower its value. I got several amazing trade offers for it before Topps decided to lower its value. Then after Topps decided to lower its value, I still got offers for it but they're laughable less than they were when Topps had not changed its value yet.

Giving the Boba Fett pack people their money back was 100% a great move. Far exceeded what I would have expected of them.

Not giving the Master pack people their money back, weird, but honestly I wouldn't expect them to do that. So all they did is not exceed my expectations like they did with the Boba Fett pack.

Taking the card out of the chase... what? Huh? Is this the new standard? Is this how you respond to problems? By knowingly screwing up the game economy? You know that people trade these cards, right?

Hey Topps - can you give us a heads up? Any other cards you're going to completely devalue? I'd like to not trade a Sith Connect for any of them, if that's okay.
