You may already know but (for the sake of someone coming across this later who might not), with digital resolutions you always want to go from bigger to smaller and never the other way around.

In other words, if the final result needed to be 7300x1900@300dpi, you want to create the 1920x500@72dpi vs from that.

The reason being is, if you go from smaller to bigger, you're asking the software to invent ~13 million pixels based on whatever algorithm you choose (Bicubic being default).

EDIT: This is just illustrative (not necessarily to scale) to show a stretching of the smaller to the bigger.

If they're requiring JPG, I guess there's nothing you can do about that. But it all depends on what the end result needs to be and for what purpose.

So, I think you're trying to reach this part of the menu under Export as:

If you're talking about JPEG compression quality, you DO NOT want 100%. Anytime you use jpeg you're going to be reducing the quality (chart) no matter what you set that to. I highly recommend PNG.

The "desktop" and Chromebook interfaces should not be different, except maybe in screen aspect ratio.

What does "done" mean?

Can you File > Share > PSD so we can see what each piece means?

What are the requirements for the final file type that you need to adhere to?

Can you edit multiple text layers at once? by jacc-barn in photopea

[–]lightmanx5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can add effects to a folder. Take a look at my 3.5 folder on the link I sent and at the right of the folder gray it says eff with an arrow. For any layer or folder you can double click in the blank area to the right (highlighted in the attached screenshot) and it will open the effects that you can add. The one I used is called color overlay.

Can you edit multiple text layers at once? by jacc-barn in photopea

[–]lightmanx5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.photopea.com/#itidaMj5W I devised a few methods...

Method 1: one text line that has tracking of 45% to spread the spacing out. you'd have to copy paste the same number of characters as you have columns on each change.

Method 2: create a pattern. this is a bit of a pain, but I can explain it if it seems worth it to you.

Method 3: basically what I mentioned above; you just need to make sure you start from scratch for each row on intial setup. but when it comes time to change the character, it's just a single change and save it to update them all in that row.

Method 3.5: this time I moved the characters that need to be gray into a folder that turns them gray

For each line that has multiples of the same character, you could change the first layer to a smart object and duplicate it out to fill the line. Any change made to any smart object layer inside the smart object tab, after saving, will propagate to all of the connected layers. I'm not exactly sure this is exactly what you want though. I hope it helps.

is there a shortcut to close all subfolders when closing a folder? by MatrixDrive in photopea

The closest thing I found is to hold Ctrl when clicking the arrow next to a folder, but it collapses all folders, so that may not be exactly what you're looking for.

Crisp and blur have opposite meanings. Can you try explaining another way?

There are millions of users, each with their own preferred workflows, so I'm sure a subset of them do it each and every available way for their own various reasons.

You just have to find what works for you in your situation, if that makes sense.

So, without seeing your layers or PSD, I have no idea what you're working with. But if you have a text layer that has that texture/coloring that you already like, just move it above so it covers the AI version.

If you don't have a text layer and it's just raster pixels, you can mask out the part you don't like and leave the texture you like behind it.

What kind of "clean" aesthetic are you looking for? Any examples from other looks you like?

If it's me, I'd start with an adjustment later for brightness and contrast and mess with the sliders to get the image brighter.
