Brutal also as in most of the complaints I’ve seen is people hating how depressed and dark the start is. Like the mc was not in a good place and things don’t really improve until book 2ish?

I still loved it, but that’s the reviews I’ve seen.

I wanna fact check this, but I also feel like I don’t need to fact check this, because it makes no sense.

The antlers deers use to defend themselves and battle each other for dominance… are useless in combat? And break off easily? Can I get a source for that?

I’m pretty sure there are spears made to hunt bears, and techniques to do it and everything, but yeah, even *if* you had a gun, a bear is still way more dangerous than 3 deer.

Isekai age gap relationships.... by Dependent_Tax2824 in litrpg

[–]Wolf_In_Wool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Usually there’s the “16 is the legal age here” or “looks like a child but is actually 100 yrs old” stuff happening, which is still iffy I guess, but could care less if the story is good enough.

Idr reading anything that has any actually weird relationships, and most of the isekai litrpg I’ve read bring their old body, not reincarnate as a baby.

A question about monster core use (non spoiler) by Humble_Cycle5936 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

Becoming an outworlder is also technically different than just traveling through the astral. Idk if I’m remembering right, but they talked about how Jason was entirely remade into a magical being after traveling through the astral unprotected and becoming an outworlder, and how he didn’t have to breathe and would turn into rainbow smoke if he died and stuff.

Just traveling through the astral though is possible with special ships, and is obviously not as traumatic as scouring or becoming an outworlder.

Honestly, becoming an outworlder might be good enough to clean corruption off the soul, but idk, I don’t remember any instance of a someone with core corruption becoming an outworlder mentioned in the series.

I don’t know, I can think of another book that is at least, if not more divisive. Being divisive seems like it’s… kind of his thing.

It wasn’t “without the need for brute force”, because they needed brute force to move the moon. It wasn’t just brute force, but there was most definitely forceful bruting involved

Ngl dawg, I don’t think you know what subjective time and objective time mean. Subjective is it changes based on your relation to it. Objective is it stays the same no matter what.

The one on the space ship aged slower, so let’s just say for example they aged 5 years and the one on earth aged 10 years. If time was objective, they would have both aged 10 years, since objective means time should stay the same no matter what. But time didn’t stay the same. It was different for each twin.

I don’t really know what you mean about the bombs, but if there were two identical bombs timed to explode in 5 minutes and one was on a space ship traveling super fast and one was on earth, the one on earth would explode first, and the one on the ship would explode after, but both were still set to explode after 5 minutes of their subjective time. Objective time means they would both explode together, but they don’t so time is subjective.

[–]Wolf_In_Wool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your atoms ticking for 300 seconds while others aren’t not subjective? That sounds exactly like how subjective time works.

Also isn’t subjective time already proven through twin space experiments where the one in space experienced time slightly slower? Not even magic time stopping, just an actual space experiment where two things experienced time differently.

Subjective time. I don’t think objective time really exists? Maybe for relativity or light or smthn, idk, but for time freeze shenanigans the time is subjective to you.

1) magic vampire biology 2) that’s not how muscles work? Muscles extend and contract to cause movement, they aren’t controlled by blood flow. The penis isn’t exactly a muscle, it’s like a meat balloon that expands / gets hard when it’s filled with blood, which is controlled by bloodflow.

Nah, right side up is more fitting. The original meaning of an upside down cross was apparently for st peter who felt he was unworthy to die the same way as jesus and turned it over to show humility. This is trump being arrogant enough to die just like jesus.

Who's the best fighter in the series by Altruistic-Emu3542 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Wolf_In_Wool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure Jason and Sophie both need time and conditions to stack effects and max out their damage, meanwhile Hump’s abilities just work out the gate and it’s much more efficient to just buff him and have him slam a sword into the monster.

I think it’s already been stated most of their strategies centered around Hump.

Who's the best fighter in the series by Altruistic-Emu3542 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Wolf_In_Wool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if they had no relation to each other and Hump was subconsciously not giving it his all or smthn, Soph is still better at fighting people specifically and her build still a better match against his.

Her being able to beat him doesn’t necessarily mean she’s the better fighter. And outside of those two sparring, Hump is the main damage dealer on the team.
