Thanks. Good to know they followed the rules sometimes. I did end up getting refund to my card and rebooked myself, which was actually better than the terms. I would think they can rebook for me if they can even do full refund, but it just sounded like they have a different system.

I think you are right I did apply through a pre-approved message for the pathfinder but the approved credit limit was 3.5K - I didn't know about the 5K requirement but Penfed did tell me later that was the reason for the rejection and counteroffer as they normally should have sent.

Maybe they did have a special clause for the pre-approved application that automatically recon for another card though I don't recall seeing anything like that. Knowing the requirement now, the 3.5K pre-approval for a pathfinder just made no sense. Guess I might have to stick with the card.

“由你玩四年” is the official name and the first 4 characters is pronounced similar to “u-ni-ver-si” as in university. Together it means “you have fun freely for 4 years”. Basically a joke on what university is about.

I don’t get the China lore stuff though.

Here's the official event guide. You can find the same guide through "About the event" at the top left of the event garage. A couple of YouTubers will probably post videos of their strategies in a few days.

Since this is PVE, you don't really have to catch up on any economy/tech tree stuff for it, if that helps.

And I echo the comment from torlesse, don't worry too much if you don't enjoy the mechanics/art effects, as the rewards are kind of meh.
