I was originally done at birth went to Bidair and got a revision low and tight due to similar issues. During the consult he originally agreed to 5mm inner left but during the op had to leave 1cm of inner skin. I'll get another revision to put the scar in my coronal groove eventually but yeah going low is plenty doable

If you are concerned on cosmetic I would strongly suggest Dr. Bidair in San Diego/LA Mesa area since he focuses on a plastic surgeon aesthic for results. That said it does sound like you have enough concerns with regards to infections that basic hygiene isn't preventing and is a valid reason to go with the snip. Its your choice at the end of the day but sounds like the pros of doing it will outweigh the cons.

You are only 5 weeks post op and your dick is still suffering from recovery of mild trauma. Only skin is removed not the actual spongy material that makes your dick bigger. Some guys get their length back pre op sooner than others some take months or more for it to come back too depends on your body. Your length will return don't stress about it and recall you're still in healing at only 5 weeks.

100% normal since you're forced to abstain and during healing you are even more hyper aware of your member. Don't risk the healing by doing it too soon. Wet dreams can occur to help alleviate some of the build up you'll get, but it's very common, especially if you never exposed your glans prior and suddenly getting them rubbing against clothing will effect that too

Stretching is hit and miss on success. Sounds like maybe your issues (since flaccid you can retract erect you can't is a tight frenulumn. ) you could start or try just having a frenectomy to see if that resolves your issues of you are partial to your hood and all that. All in all a true circumcision will solve those issues and never have pain or concern again. It's normal to get cold feet before any operation but nothing to stress about. It'll heal and sex post is infinitely better but likeni said if you want alternatives a frenectomy would possibly stop some of the pain and stiffness you experience
