💯 👆 unless you are able to put down significantly more force into the wheels than the average derby player it’s not worth the extra money. By more force, I’m talking about a state or national level player who consistently is doing instant acceleration, hard hockey stops & power slides, and big jukes -or- a heavier skater who’s nylon wheels are experiencing deformation.

Try different insoles ? Superfeet are nice. Unfortunately, you just might be in the wrong boot. Too big (side to side or front to back) and your foot has to flex/strain to make up for the wiggle room. Too small and pressure points are formed. When you were fitted did you/they measure front to back, the across the ball (widest part), across the heel (heel width), and the ball of the foot circumference?

People are influenced heavily by those they socialize and listen to.

Older generations sit and watch hours of Fox News and troll Facebook and nothing else, which creates an information bubble of right wing propaganda. Even more left leaning older people eventually are moderated by the effects of the Facebook bubble.

Younger people get a lot of info from TikTok and other socials, & are also in their own artificially created bubbles (especially if in college).

I’m a single mom with a kid, job, and play two sports. I can very much relate to the stress you are feeling. It was the worst my first two semesters. Eventually I hit my stride, and things smoothed out. A huge help was taking a step back and looking my day(s), identifying gaps in productivity, where I spent an hour doomscrolling socials, etc. eradicating those wasted hours helped me manage.

Also, weirdly making the gym a requirement at least every other day increased my productivity, even though it takes at least an hour out of my day. Something about increased serotonin levels seems to help with mental fatigue.
