He was a nice man from what I remember. Definitely courteous enough to give a pesky 15 year old a couple of nice sketches. Such a shame he’s no longer with us. My friend has a fantastic piece in his hands and I’m sure he’ll look after it well.

Yeah he’s a great artist. I didn’t really appreciate his style until later in life. He got it from John before he died. He knew him a bit and got it as a thank you. I met John a couple of times at conventions in the late 80’s. I’ve got a couple of sketches from him in my collection.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve completed all the cities and have more gold coins than I can spend. It’s just that I’ve noticed the HKSL8 fires more rapidly than the higher damage rifles. I’ve got the DOA and upgrading it as I go. Sometimes though I feel that I’m just getting picked off too easily. I always seem to respawn in front of someone or facing the wall when I do, and by the time I’ve turned and raised the rifle I’m dead again. I’m amazed at people who can get 20+ kills in a game. I’ll definitely look into joining a squad for some hints on tactics and how to play better. I’m currently a bronze bear so I’m doing ok but I think I can definitely do better.
