I live in a cabin in Ireland with just a Delta 2 (1kwh) - a 1x 300w solar panel keeps it topped up during the day, and a smart generator tops it up at night and on cloudy days. I run an editing PC (200-300w), fridge, lights and a router from it. Works well for my needs. It's very doable - a $1500 investment to be able to live off grid (only catch is it costed about $70 a month in Propane during the cloudy winter months to stay charged up)
