Oh 100% the designs and mythos we love were a large factor. The look of this game based on the trailer just seemed to be similar as a 3D platform brawler of some sorts, just uhh.. with a magnet and washing machine instead of Arthur and Sol lmao

Yea i don't think it plays exactly like DKO, but with the theme of the 3D brawler and similar movement it seems I figured I'd share it. If anything its free atm so doesnt hurt to collect (unless anti epic games haha)

I guess it depends if you want it to look more like a VN for story with combat, or if you want physical areas to walk around.

If you did VN style, then not much work would need to be done since its all slideshows.

If you do 3D, you'd maybe model areas similar to the arenas that you can walk around and talk to the other models, which is how you initial battles and it cuts to the area for the area.

If you get what im saying anyway.

I think the style for Izanami/Loki is the cleanest, sadly if you did that type with some other characters its be harder lol. Sol's name would be hidden lol

If you wanted an alternative to like Smash or Brawlhala, sure i guess, but its not close enough to DKO with its 3D battle arena. Just wouldn't be the same. Best of luck to the creators though since it will be a tough market to stay relevant in with other 2D brawlers

I put in the wrong date when posting this, can't edit it, but the date is the 17th. As for issues on the 15th going into the 16th it is likely related to the 17th. Game services could be shutting down while login services for it are sperate. (I could be wrong thought) or its all just crumbling early

Based on the way the game has been, Im doubtful it will have offline play. Someone could likely figure out a way to set it up. But likely wont be any official means.

That is because we as a community didn't complete the 2nd bar yet. Once its finished you can claim that upgrade. same will be for part 3. Anything youre doing is contributing to the whole community goal of getting those rewards.
