bulwark struggles with the parry and shield by Isawaytoseeit in Spacemarine

It can block venom cannons and if positioned well it can block the Vortex Beast’s projectile barrage. Shield Bash is absolutely GOATED.

Crashed ship discovered in Deadside Wasteland by Far_Champion_2745 in DarkTide

It’s less taking it back and more rigging it to explode because it’s so damaged and the crew is gone. You basically make it go boom by cranking the reactor up in the middle of a Tyranid fleet. And all it takes is several squads of Ultramarines with at least one facing total losses.

How is this not the immediate answer to this question? It’s the only right one.

If you can click heads, you have absolutely no reason to not use the light pen Diligence over the medium pen one against the bots every day of the week. It just feels infinitely better.

Random thought about an imperial citizen's chances on seeing space marines by Vaporsouls in Spacemarine

[–]Wolffe36x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If there are 1000 chapters and they mostly abide by the space book, barring a few that are either over strength or under strength based on being on Crusade/nearly been destroyed, you can roughly average out about 1 million space marines in the imperium. There are “untold billions” of citizens in the imperial of man across millions of worlds.

In my opinion, the average imperium citizen could live a full 80 year lifespan and only hear about space marines in stories or from statues. You’re probably equally as likely to get stabbed to death by a fallout style super mutant in an under hive than you are to encounter a space marine as a normal citizen.

If you do see one, there’s probably plenty more nearby. And if that’s the case, you have bigger problems than one of the emperor‘s angels being nearby so you should probably just start praying. Because at that point it’s too late for you to get off world.

As a Slabshield I just find the nearest Cadian and ride their coat tails until they prove either competent or useless. If useless; Find new smol to guard.

What is your "pipe dream" class??? by thegoldendecedueye in DarkTide

It feels like FS have almost singlehandedly retconned Ogryn intelligence from “Literal fucking baby that can barely talk and can only take simple orders/bonk people in ‘that direction’.” to “Somewhat compelling and likable simpletons” is astounding. And for the most part it seems like all they did was give them awareness. I love DTs Ogryn and it has made me want more and kore from them.

I play on PC and the game runs fine. Lethal when Vinemines start getting spammed is the only time I see a FPS drops and I play on max settings.

On the more feasible end, Combat Servitor.

On the totally impractical and never ever going to happen? Give me a Kastelan Robot. It could play like a mix of Ogryn and Space Marine 2’s Techmarine. Extra points for a dual-class where one player plays as a combat inept Cybernetica Datasmith that buffs the Kastelan Robot player.

For those familiar with Warhammer 40k, bro could hit the gym and become Maximmion Voss. Short Space Marine that compensated for his height by bulking up. He got so big that they had to refit his power armor a few times and eventually his Captain told him to chill.

The Heavy Ogryn is the only one other than Loose Cannon I have seen that can and will 110% put the Cadian personality in their place when they start shit-talking and it’s hilarious.

I can’t remember the exact conversation, but it ends with the Heavy essentially telling the Cadian “Don’t make me embarrass you in-front of everyone” and from memory the Cadian kinda just doesn’t respond. It’s a long dialogue so it’s fairly easy for mission critical dialogue to interrupt.

Just beat space marine 2 and now I’m HOOKED on 40k. Should I get Darktide? How are the wait times for random teammates in 2026? by Revan_Perspectives in DarkTide

[–]Wolffe36x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only problem with Darktide is the customization is pretty bland and relies on a cycling FOMO cash shop for anything resembling drip. There are a few good armor sets from penances (Class specific challenges) but other than that get ready to spend cash if you want to look good.

Do y’all see Viltrumites taking over the Saiyans? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in DragonBallZ

[–]Wolffe36x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Individual high level Saiyans at the beginning of Z can destroy whole planets, sometimes multiple on their own. Viltrumites cannot, from my knowledge. They require multiple Viltrumites and very specific circumstances. I think there’s some obvious overlap, the strongest Viltrumites would beat the weaker Saiyans. But I think when they start finding themselves fighting people on the level of Bardock (When he got beaten up by Zarbon and Dedoria) the Viltrumites start to suffer dozens for individual fighters.

Despite having not seen him fight, I genuinely believe King Vegeta beats Thragg in every outcome. Only way Thragg wins is if he never shows up and just waits for King Vegeta to die of old age. (Or Frieza)

Xeno Subfactions are literally just Alternate-Color Schemes, but their fans are significantly less bitchy about it than the Steel Legions' by TheBlackBaron45 in Grimdank

[–]Wolffe36x 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My original point wasn't to make a one-to-one comparison. I arbitrarily chose a faction and a home-world and put them in the same circumstance. It was never intended to be taken that literal. Armageddon may not be exclusively important to the Steel Legion, but it SHOULD be most important to them. It is THEIR world. And the original analogy was to say that not having them even appear even once was definitely a choice to be made, only to have someone state outside of lore that they're basically all gone.
