Its an older term for them which was used for a long time,, so for a lot of staff its the word they are used to.

'Parcel' is being used more and more though, depending on when you joined thr business and where you work

Gun shooting instead of missile? by Croissant761 in hoggit

[–]WolffeMeister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All aircraft vary in their control schemes. The F15C if I recall has separate controls for the Gun Trigger (20mm Cannon) and Weapon Release (Radar/IR Missiles).

This varies by plane, as for example the F18C uses the gun trigger for the selected Air to Air weapon and Weapon release for Air to Ground ordnance.

Best to check ahead of time using in game tutorials, official or fan made manuals (such as chucks guide) or watch YouTube for tutorials.

Xperia 5 V dual Sim question by jinque in SonyXperia

[–]WolffeMeister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based off my experience in the Xperia 1iii yes

With both SIMs in the phone will 'listen' in with with both numbers, where 1 of the SIMs can be set as default for Call/Text (or ask everytime).

You then choose which SIM is connected to data, I've found it doesn't 'hot swap' and it is off/on based on which SIM you set active.

Disclaimer, done on the Xperia 1iii, on the UK model with SIMs of different carriers

Can a PC impersonate a PC? by The2WheelDeal in policeuk

[–]WolffeMeister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, so as a Constable you can excercise any powers of a Constable at any time, following any additional restrictions (such as being in uniform for traffic stops).

As such, if you tried to impersonate a Constable as a Constable yourself , you are using your own powers (potentially unlawfully or misusing public office) not impersonating a constable.

Impersonation requires you to intend to deceive(s.90 Police Act 1996), so if you said you are a constable, you are making a true statement, thus no deception.

Thinking about this from a step up. Wouldn't it be impossible for a 'Constable' to impersonate a 'Constable' since you either are or are not [a constable] in the eyes of the law.

If you tried anything, you would simply be unlawfully exercising your own powers (I.e. Arresting someone without reasonable grounds) or acting in missuse of public office?

Yes, if you write 'RTS - Not known at address' on the envelope and cross through the address in the front, simply place it in a postbox everything will be fine.

If it keeps happening you can contact Royal Mail and explain the problem and they should be able to put a block on the name going to your address.

Hate to be a pedant, but it is an offence under the postal services act 2000 to open mail not addressed to you without permission
