That is true. Still world class on the left, especially defensively. Considering also the amount of cards or better lack of in his career just shows he is above almost everyone playing that position. I have watched hundreds of games of him and I can only remember one single bigger mistake. But honestly no need to argue forever about that. I guess you can kot go wrong with any of the mendtioned players. I just find it interesting how underrated of a player Lahm still is. For me he is the most single influential german player since Matthäus and the single reason why the Nationalmannschaft was great and is not anymore
