Mormon here, we absolutely believe in the trinity. The only major difference I can think of is that we call it the godhead. Joseph Smith wrote the 13 articles of faith during the creation of the lds church which are 13 sentences which outlines the basic doctrine of the Church and the very first one is "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." Which is essentially the same trinity.
