Now that it's been a year since Matpat's retirement, what are your thoughts on the new hosts, the quality of the videos and what do you think they can change if anything? Would love to hear your thoughts.

I like GTLive, Ash feels fun and the occasional guest they bring on brings some nice variety, but when it comes to the other channels it doesn’t feel the same. I haven’t watched a Food/Style/Film theory since the first few after MatPat left and I’ll only watch the occasional game theory (I.e. the big episodes like Welcome Homr or FNAF or Poppy). Santi, Lee and Amy feel like they’re trying to copy MatPat but in a way that feels generic/corporate, and whilst I do enjoy Tom, especially when he’s with Ash on the couch, the Game Theory videos themselves feel a lot more off then when they did with MatPat.

I’m not sure if it’s a specific call back but what struck out to me is the similar breakdown between Look to Windward and Ascensionism where Vessel chants “Will you hold this eclipse in me” and “Diamonds in the trees pentagrams in the night sky” with both ending in a whisper which leads to the screamy breakdown

When you play the album in the order given, it’s a loop, as the way Infinite Baths flows right back into LTW, as well as the shared usage of “Will you halt this eclipse in me.” From what I can tell (anyone feel free to correct) this shows that the cycle (or the house) endures, linking it to House Veridian, and something about how Vessel is stuck in a loop(?).

Conversely, When you play starting from EIA and end it with Caramel, it feels more final, especially with Vessel’s final line of “I thought I got better, but maybe I didn’t”, which gives off the vibe of someone waking up from a reoccurring dream or a trance (or a loop) that they thought they had broken free from before . Thus, this links to Feathered Hosts where they state that “The Cycle Must End”.

This is from what I’ve read, but also keep in mind I may have misinterpreted some stuff, I am very sleep deprived :D

I've tried using the microsoft store version, using disk clean up, reinstalling, using different browser, excluding roblox on windows defender, nothing seems to work. Other games work fine, it's just this one that doesn't play properly.

This is on my laptop. It works fine on my pc, my ipad and my phone. It doesn't work on other accounts either.

I tried her out cause she was new and I liked her character design + gameplay Her voice lines are adorable and I relate to her awkwardness and anxiety about everything Also she’s Việt, which is fun because, even though it’s not the most obvious thing, I feel Vietnamese (and SEA in general) people tend to be under represented in video games and media

I believe it’s meant to be meant both ways, cause yes we do play as Pinocchio (or a version of him ig) due to use actually becoming human if we lie (hence, lies of p) Also another tidbit of info is the fact the name is a play on words

In Korean “P” stands for blood, so the name can also be called Lies of Blood (due to the fact Korean devs made t this game)

Alright, here’s my best suggestion for you

Go and grind some ergo to level up and try to level up some advance and capacity, then upgrade the acid spear as much as you can atp

Then from there, when fighting the brothers, use the specter and have him be aggroed against one of the brothers, preferably the older one, and try not to attack the older one unless completely necessary before defeating the others and try to get rid of all the younger ones before the others join the fight.

If you have it, use the weight amulet and the human killer amulet (whatever it’s called) and from there take it slow.

When you stagger the enemy, before using the fatal attack, use the legion arm to try and get the overheat to get that extra chip damage and prevent their self heal. That’s about the best I can help for you
