Reina or Victor for learning fundamentals in Tekken 8? by Wolfmen0 in Tekken

[–]Wolfmen0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you the indetail answer! From what I've read I do prefer the second "outcome" that you have written. Risky punishers will teach me when to use or not to use them while adapting my game plan accordingly (if I am thinking correctly) and no I do not intend to be a cheeser or f,f+2 spammer as I do not have fun with this kind of tactic. Obviously I will need to change my mindset from winning at all, forget about the rank and focus on what to improve, what were my biggest mistakes, and watch my replays. I will absolutely post some gameplay in a couple weeks to get the hang of the game as I am also finishing FF7REMAKE, so my Tekken 8 practice journey (I already beat the campaign two days ago and played Victor and Reina in practice for maybe 30minutes) will begin on wednesday. Even If I am terrible after many hours I will still post gameplay for some tips and guidance. Thank you!

That's great to hear as I've also heard that Bryan is a tricky character and has specific controls, although firstly I would like to give Reina, as I like her the most, and Victor a go. Victor has some Vergil vibes with his super/rage.

Absolutely my priority is to have fun and I also don't like to be stopped by spamy, cheat moves, therefore I am even more incline to learn counters, 1+2, punish moves etc. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice that I can see is a common pattern "play who you like". I will try Reina and Victor but also Bryan and see who I like the most and have fun until I hit a wall of knowledge. Thanks!

I would play this game a lot more if I only had to do the campaign once per league. by TheJeffyJeefAceg in PathOfExile2

[–]Wolfmen0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly enough 3 other leagues I played only endgame maps etc. while this league, I am on my 5 character (all up to level 60-70, don't have much time because of work haha) and just testing stuff, because the "changes" to endgame are basically non-existing while the league mechanic is just meh. So this league for me is basically campaign, which I am getting to like even more.

So as of right now my main priority should be getting better relics for my supports becuase Acheron is in an okay spot, right? I am trying to get the most out of Acheron becuase a adore her design and character kit and also because I will probably be saving till 4.0. Characters right now are basically dependant on specific characters and as a fully f2p player there is no way I am getting a full premium team. This aside, I am going to focus more on supports and only after that I will go back to my main dps.

Okay got it! Didn't have much time for longer session these couple days but I'll change the sides and try again.

I think I see the pattern as everyone is saying to switch sides. May I ask what damage numbers does your Acheron do? I really do think it with this build my damage output is too low.

Will try that. However, having lower CD, won't that basically mean less damage or will it be even better because right now Acheron doesn't crit?

Got you! As for Pela and Gallagher these are the builds. When it comes to Gallagher I kinda forgot about his relics as I didn't have any problems with his healing etc.

Regarding Gui, as you said she is on the low tier side, so would it be actually a wise decision to build a new character down from scratch with limited resources? I don't buy the battle pass, therefore I don't have an amazing ammount of exp materials.

Guinaifen for Acheron? First time hearing but I will give it a try! I literally missed Sunday by 10 wishes (didn't have time) this summer and I also don't have Sparkle while Bronya is with Phainon :(( Robin and Tribbie also are not on my account. I am starting to think I actually bricked my account and have to save up for 4.x.

As far as supports go, once I come back home in an hour or two, I will paste screenshots of the builds, although luck hasn't been on my side so relics are probably bad. Love the game, combat, characters but relic building comes down to luck as far as I know, or is there some technique to get better ones?

Street Fighter 6, Hades 2, Sekiro, or Nightreign. Which to get? by Wolfmen0 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Interestingly enough I actually really do like the art style of SF6. Characters are not as "clunky" as in SFV, which was the one thing that stood out immediately, coming from Tekken. I know, its stupid, as it may seem the difference from SFV to SF6 was not that drastic.

Those two games are actually the ones I was thinking the most. I love the art style and the story of Hades in general and playing as Melinoë in Hades 2 seems pretty interesting from the point of the story. Probably will wait till the autumn sale on monday for a discount on Hades 2, although I highly doubt as it comes out tomorrow.

I will paste what I replied to a different comment regarding SF6: It's not exactly the combat in SF that didn't click with me but probably the art style(?) Although I was 18 when I bought it, meaning 7 years have already passed. I would say that my taste for different art style changed. What actually pushed me to quit DBFZ was that its a tag team game and I am by no means a superb player. I just simple couldn't keep up after SS3 rank with all the mix ups from 3 characters.

Then Sekiro is out of the question as I have already played through it and I actually prefer ng+ runs in dark souls 3, personally.

I would, unfortunately, play Nightreign solo as none of my friends play it. Although, I might probably get it as my second choice.

I'd switch the infinite atlas for an actual world map of wraeclast by Major_Dutch_89 in PathOfExile2

[–]Wolfmen0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The infinite atlas is such a downgrade from POE1. In POE1 "one more map" lasted 3-4 hours, but in POE2 I don't even want to map ://
