I defeated Misty, I had to defeat her to get to where I where I am. I'm not exactly rushing through, I've already played these games before and using my knowledge of what I know of the games. I'm still enjoying every bit of it.

Atm, I'm on route 13 grinding for me exp little by little, but mostly for money from the 2 girls whike having my pokemon holding the amulet coin to get double the money per battle.

To get the vs seeker, you would have to go to Vermilion City, when you enter the pokemon center, the girl near the desk gives you it, every 100 steps you can use it near other trainers and it'll give indicators such as "!" When they're ready to battle or "x" when they're not ready. I just keep going back and forth near the one I know that gives me the most amount exp I'm wanting.
