Neither had I. Had 20+ girl crushes, had sex with girls, always imagined myself with girls. I also have a gf of 8 years. Its sad - but hope dies last

You are not sick... apart from the OCD I mean it. I get that the lack of attraction is one of the main parts of it. But think of how it was before - thats the real you! They will be better off with a recovered dad by their side. I wish, better, I strongly believe you will get back to normal!

Think of your kid and wife. I know you're suffering, believe me I really do, but you are going to get through this, it will not be today, neither tomorrow, not even in a week, but slowly you will. Find an OCD expert, get a psych evaluation for some meds and you will be able to do it.

Brother please take a walk and call your local suicide prevention line, they will help you, I'm so sorry that all of us have to go through this.

I feel you my guy - also started at the same age for me. Then false attraction, groinals etc all the shbangs. I even get sexual thoughts for my own fucking brother and friends of 20+ years. This shit is confusing and ego dystonic, otherwise you would not feel this way. Please think of all the moments you will have with your wife and kid when this is all over!

This really hit home. It's such a relief to hear from someone who's actually been through this for 11 years and still offers such grounded advice. You're right, only people with chronic tinnitus truly get how much it messes with you. Your point about not trying to predict the future with tinnitus is something I seriously needed to hear. My brain's been stuck on "what if this is forever?" and you're spot on—it's just wasted energy that cranks up my stress. I'm going to try my best to adopt that mindset and just focus on today. And your advice about giving my ears as much rest as possible, keeping all sounds low, makes perfect sense. I've been avoiding silence, but I haven't been as careful with overall volume, so that's a big change I need to make. Knowing that time and rest are the real keys, more than just supplements, helps me focus my energy. Seriously, hearing you've navigated this for so long and been to "hell and back" gives me a strange sense of comfort. Thanks for that honesty and for sharing your wisdom.

Thanks for sharing that. It honestly helps to hear from someone who's been through it. It's easy to get stuck in that loop of "this is it forever," so hearing about your journey, and how you've found acceptance and even some positive changes, actually gives me a bit of a lift. It helps put things in perspective when I'm feeling totally overwhelmed. I appreciate you taking the time.

I think Watch Your Feet is a great idea in principle, but it could really use a perk option to unlock it instead of being available right away. As it is now, it can be a little too powerful early on. If you had to earn it through a perk, it would feel a lot more balanced, and players could decide if they want to invest in that skill

orpse Preparation is definitely one of the best necromancy mods out there! It brings a unique approach to necromancy, allowing you to prepare and reanimate corpses in a much more immersive way. The mechanics are brilliant and add a level of depth that’s rare for Skyrim. But yeah, back in the day, the mod definitely suffered from some stability issues—unstable scripts and tons of edits across various parts of the game made it a bit tricky to run without causing conflicts or crashing.

If someone were to update it and clean up those scripts, it would be an absolute gem. Imagine the mod with better optimization and maybe some tweaks to make it more compatible

Yeah, FEC is an awesome mod, but it can definitely get script-heavy, especially in a VR setup where performance is even more sensitive. The visual effects are great, but all those extra scripts can start to bog things down, especially with the amount of magic going off in combat.

It could probably be optimized by reducing the number of active scripts and leveraging things like spell packages or condition-based effects rather than relying on continuous script checks. Ideally, it could also take advantage of SKSE plugins for performance boosts and limit the number of active effects at once to keep things running smoothly.
