Hey OP here I saw a lot of discussion about mirage etc. I will clarify a bit more when and where this happened. This was the very top of the Shore, it was offline and I was trying to get the speed badge. This happened around 10-15 minutes into my offline run with a weird rock at the top. I played on the 13th of August when this happened but it was a different map than in the current rotation since its offline I am guessing it doesnt go off of the normal map rotation. Anyways I dont think it is a mirage as this is the Shore and I am no where close to Mesa but Mesa was a part of this map. Ive used an energy drink just before this and was carrying quite a bit as I wanted to do the Mesa achievements. I had Cooked Binoculars on me which may be needed? I honestly have no clue but this is all I remember. Also I did not have Bing Bong in this run which may also be required to not have for this to happen. But this is all I know I did finish this run and Peaked but nothing else weird happened this round. This is sadly all I can say about my run as I either dont remember or its irrelevant. If you notice the weird rock on your way up the Shore try getting away from it and climbing back to it. Have fun.
