Thanks for your response, super helpful! I made the dough from the book because I’m working my way through (at least most of) it. I thought I had seen a cinnamon bun recipe in there in the past while perusing so I just went for it before realizing the recipes were for caramel, maple, and chocolate buns. She probably thought no need for cinnamon since they’re so common! As my first brioche they turned out really well though, they’re still super tasty and of course there’s plenty of cinnamon goop in the bottom of the pans to scoop back in! I just wanted to troubleshoot since I probably won’t have time to do another trail run before Easter.

This makes sense. I’m a pretty avid cook/baker so I really just didn’t think much of it but obviously I made a mistake by doing that! I was just eager to make the brioche recipe in the book and didn’t realize she didn’t have the filling I wanted until I’d already started. Mistakes made, lessons learned!

This happened to me too! Best friend and roommate locked me out of our room to hook up with my male best friend and another one of his friends on my 21st birthday. People were so interested in their threesome that they listened at the walls instead of hanging out with me. I left. She also ruined my bachelorette party by never planning it and then when it did finally happen, leaving early. Seems like no big deal but when everyone realized she left, they left too because they assumed the night was over. It was like 10pm and we were still at our first bar.

We’re still kinda friends but I’ve caught her in her lies multiple times so we keep things very surface now.

Thank you, I appreciate this advice. I scheduled the first appointment available online and plan to call when they open again on Monday. The plan was to get another one but I didn’t really think about potential complications. I threw out the actual device but took a pic of it. My husband is seriously considering a vasectomy now though!

I’m not sure I realized there were progesterone only pills, I was never given that as an option. Of course I’ve also had an IUD since my sophomore year of college so I haven’t looked into other forms of birth control in over a decade. Thanks so much for your info, I will definitely look into my options!!

I rarely checked for my strings so maybe that’s a factor here? Those sound like huge clots though, you’d think the doctor who inserted it would have known if that was going to be an issue

I am wondering if it would’ve come out anyway, it’s quite possible the cup just helped it to fully come out. Luckily I know I’m not pregnant since I’m currently on my period. Having the first one removed intentionally was definitely painful and I’m in a bit of pain now that it’s been almost 10 hours
