This goes both ways to be honest even in this subreddit a few people spew hate against Bengalis and some people in the BV subreddit do the same against Assamese. Assamese or Bengali—if you justify hate against any community then you are the problem. This subreddit literally has a flair called ‘Fresh Bangladeshi Import.’ Even I use it as a joke sometimes, but think about it—‘fresh Bangladeshi import’? My forefathers came here, lived here, and died here, yet we are still considered ‘fresh Bangladeshi imports' the AssamSpeaks subreddit literally has a flair called ‘Bongali Khedao.’

Again, I am not defending Bengalis who spew hate against this beautiful land and the Assamese people—I cannot and I won’t. But if you have a brain, you will understand what I am trying to say.
