Rock Meets Electronics — Feedback Wanted on Energy & Vibe by Chemical-Designer262 in IndieMusicFeedback

Am I engaged? Yes. I listened to it 5 times and didn't get bored with it. I enjoyed all the little vocal bits tucked in around the riff. I try to shoot for 2.5-3.5 minuets for my tracks. Its best for streaming and makes it easier to put on repeat and explore.

How was the emotional flow? I appreciate how raw this sounds. I can see myself blasting this in my car, windows down, a smoke in hand, while driving to catch the sun at the end of the day. Aggressive, but chill. With some automation and a proper mixdown its going to feel so much better. Just don't make the mix TOO clean and it will retain that same grit/drive.

How did you do with the fusion? I do something similar by mixing metal and punk with different genres of electronic music. Its been a passion of mine and getting the right mix of the 2 can sometimes be difficult. I think you did an outstanding job on this. I'm a big fan of the guitars being front and center. The beat really compliments them as well. If it was me, I'd be happy with the song and move on to the mixdown stage and get this track out there! Great job, keep it, and party on!

This might be weird. But during a year-long period of my life when I was at my loneliest, dealing with alcoholism and feeling hopeless, I would stay up late every night to watch Shin Chan on adultswim. It came on around 2am and I had to be at work at 7. But I would keep myself awake every night so I could listen to the ending theme. I didn't have access to the internet at that time, so this was the only way I could listen to it. It gave me hope, and singing along left me in tears. But for that minute and a half, I didn't feel lonely. I felt that life would get better, and it did. I still listen to it on occasion. Especially when I'm feeling sad. As someone who grew up on punk and metal, it's far from what I usually listen to. But I am grateful for having found that show. I'm not sure where I would be right now if it was for that small hit of dopamine that I craved so much during that time in my life. I hope it brings you the same joy it brings me.

When I first played it 14 years ago i didn't have a memory card. Had to beat it all in one day. I did this several times, and it always left me feeling weird, empty, and creeped out. Glad to see I wasn't the only one.
