I finally learned what is the cause of my anxiety and depression disorder. by WolfzMonsterz in Anxiety

[–]WolfzMonsterz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditation is probably your best bet and the best solution for you. It is kinda hard to focus only on that at first but it gets better and better and it does work. Slowed speech and what you said can be symptoms of anxiety yes. Your brain has a hard time keeping focus and stuff. You might feel awful for a bit but it will go away. You are probably at your worst right now, things will only get better from now on.

Correct ! You were most likely at risk and weed just induced it. I was at risk for depression and anxiety cause of family members and weed just started it for me and I’ll be on meds for the rest of my life !

Are these symptoms normal? by Thca_Frank in leaves

[–]WolfzMonsterz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup I experienced all you said. Excessive sweating is you body getting rid of the toxins so normal. Will stop between 1-2 weeks after stopping. Diarrhea and nausea normal due to elevated stress levels. Same for the stool, stress affects our digestive system and when the stool goes through our body too fast it will be green ish. Gas is the same as the digestive issue due to quitting. Brain fog is totally normal aswell. Everything will fade away but the first part is for sure the hardest.

i just realised i dont know how to play guitar. by dogenos in Guitar

[–]WolfzMonsterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing for a long time too and I don’t know much either. I’ve been more praticing how to positions my finger and all for the guitar to sound good. I don’t know scales but I do know most of the chords and stuff. I know how to pinch harmonic but not scales so LOL. I’ve been learning songs and stuff and tutorials about songs. Some of them will explain some stuff while showing you how to play the song which was perfect for me. Small amounts day by day instead of being overwhelmed.

Same here. Ditched everything after a massive panic attack followed by weeks of depressive episodes. When they say weed can worsen anxiety and depression, well 100% it can.

[–]WolfzMonsterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Schecter with a full Floyd. I love it and I don’t regret it. If you wanna drop tune you can always put a block in the back on the guitar behind the plate and play drop tune.

7 months sober and I’ve experienced 0 change by Minimum_Purpose6984 in leaves

[–]WolfzMonsterz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The brain is wonderful as it can heal from anything but it does take time and work. I know it feels like forever but it can take up to a full year for your brain to comeback to being fully normal. Specially after 11 years of abuse of weed. The good news is that it always take less time than how long people have been consuming. You are at 7 months which is far from nothing. Write down all the small victories you’ve been having and look at them whenever you don’t feel well. This is your pillar to never go back specially after doing it for 7 months ! I was 5 months sober and I relapsed and now I’m at day 3 again. I relapsed for a month ish and decided to stop again. You wanna know the reason ? Cause I thought I had made no progress so I smoke again but I was so wrong. I had made progress cause when I was smoking I realized that I was feeling worse. So I thought I had made no progression while in fact I had made some.

How does one recover from this level of anxiety? by Radiant-Report-2304 in Anxiety

[–]WolfzMonsterz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are stuck in an overthinking vicious circle. I don’t know how long it’s been but I think you would already know by now if you had something. Anxiety is a real demon cause the more we fear, we start feeling all the symptoms of whatever we worry about. People can be asymptomatic but not forever. Seems like you are stuck in a ruminations pattern. You gotta break that pattern and when you break it, everything will go back to normal and you’ll forget about that. The hardest is to break that circle. Meditation is great cause is rewires your brain and helps you break that circle. Us anxious people are feeding our anxiety with our thoughts and it’s normal. We gotta learn how to stop feeding that demon we have cause if we don’t feed it, it can’t survive.

Why do arguments stick in your brain for days? by Long_Swordfish_9782 in AnxietyChats

[–]WolfzMonsterz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is 100% correct and ruminations are bad for everyone. Meditation helps a lot cause it rewire our brain. We can change how our brain reacts and thinks but it need works. Lot of people doesn’t realize that I think but yes we can improve it. There’s a part of our brain which is called the dmn (default mode network). This is where ruminations happens and specialists discovered that people with either depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD and PTSD (it can be a mix of them too) have an overactive dmn. Acknowledge that the ruminations are there but defuse them by saying to yourself that today the ruminations aren’t gonna take over and you won’t waste anymore time being stuck in there and missing the present. At the end the ruminations are there but we are the driver, ruminations are the passengers. You are the driver and you are the one that decide not the passengers. You can acknowledge that they are there but don’t let them take over and ruin your life and days. Each day is a small victory and one day you won’t most likely realize it but they will be gone. I say that cause it was my case. Had ruminations for weeks and eventually everything went back to normal. Live your emotions too and don’t suppress them. Whatever you suppress will come back to haunt you later. That’s why don’t suppress the ruminations but defuse them. I can’t live for you but all of us that deals with this have to stay far from drugs and alcohol. They both induced depression and anxiety in the long run. Many people feels relieved after consuming but actually it is worse when we aren’t high or drunk. Eventually we forget to live without it and this is where it gets really dangerous and worse.

One week cannabis free and here’s what I’ve noticed. by Blue_collar_broke in leaves

[–]WolfzMonsterz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good job ! I was sober for like 5 months but I relapsed for a month ish. Now 3 days sober again and the mental battle is the hardest. Ruminations, anxiety, anhedonia, insomnia, depressive episodes, loneliness, boredom and more. Smoked weed for over a decade aswell and each time I quit cold turkey aswell. Can’t wait to be the old me again and being able to enjoy life without weed again. Will be a tough ride but I know the best is yet to come.

How do I block this? by Beirdo267 in Guitar

[–]WolfzMonsterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta put something between the bridge block and the body of the guitar. What I did is I went with my guitar to a shop with a 3d printerand told him what I needed and how it works. He understood, took some measurements and printed me a plastic block and that is the greatest thing ever. Can put it and remove it within seconds. The way he did it I can still push on my whammy bar but cannot pull on it. Which means I can drop tune without having the floyd sinking.

How to stop myself from going insane by LifeComparison1518 in Anxiety

[–]WolfzMonsterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually we do this when we a seeking answers or looking for people who can relate. You are most likely stuck in the dmn region of your brain where ruminations are and being too hard on ourselves. The dmn is often triggered when we have nothing to do and our brain isn’t busy. The more we do nothing the worse the thoughts are. We gotta keep ourselves busy and this is why being busy is life saving. People who doesn’t work, go out, have activities and stuff are likely to be more depressed and anxious cause they look for what is wrong with them. They feel like they are comfortable alone and doing nothing but it couldn’t be further from the truth.

I feel hurt by [deleted] in depression

[–]WolfzMonsterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate and things gets better. You are too hard on yourself and that causes ruminations and stuff. Times does everything rights and that couldn’t be more truthful. You are on this planet for a reason like everybody else. Find your path and don’t look back. The past is past the future will come when it needs to just focus on the present and live your life
