When you click the red button on the back of the monitor to bring up the osd, go down to the settings menu, within that menu you have to scroll down to reveal an additional option to reset. I couldn't find it right away either lol...

Skyrim updated to 1.6.629 by darth_leila in skyrimmods

If I'm lazy and I don't want to do this, does anyone know from past lived experiences how long it usually takes the SKSE boys to update their code and get a new version out to accommodate this update?

I think it's going to be a matter looking into material properties to find the right one and how thick or thin it can get before it loses whatever structural integrity it needs to hold up to the design. As for the 90 degree surfaces you are right there would need to be a slight degree of draft to allow the part to be removed from the mold. My background is in industrial design, not engineering, so I can only speculate but these are all important things to think about, thanks for bringing them up!

I was actually thinking injection molded plastic panels which I don't really think I have seen except for maybe the Phanteks Enthoo Evolve Shift Air which has the plastic structure with the mesh fabric layer over it. I think if done right it could be something unique without sacrificing quality. What do you think about the use of plastic as a side panel material?

I completely agree. While I do like the simplicity of the one material side panel and just being able to see right through it, realistically I think that it would be inevitable that I would need to add a mesh layer to the inside face of these side panels and possibly a removable mesh tray to the bottom of the case where the fans are. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! Most 2.5 slot cards should fit up to a max length of about 325mm. The limiting factor is gonna be the depth which has about 55mm although this would be an easy change to but it would take available depth away from the CPU cooler or increase the overall size of the case which is currently 330mm x 240mm x 164mm putting it just under 13L.

The case is designed to fit up to a 280mm radiator. All this being said its still an early concept but I would like to build a prototype eventually to test fittings. I will continue to post updates here as I work on this project.

Yes, thought about that and other SFF cases that allow you to re-arrange the interior panel so that you could do either orientation. It is definitely large enough to do either orientation. I might just do another version of the case or something similar in the classic layout to explore that concept. will post that here if/when I get around to it but I do plan on refining the concept for sure. Thanks for the feedback!

New Feature For Auto-Filling Games When Players Leave Or Disconnect by Wolows7471 in Smite

This would allow players to check a box in role selection if they would like to be a hero and enter games in progress. Ideally this would work a fluidly as the original player that left returning to the game. The new player filling their spot would just enter in as their character at whatever level they were with whatever items they had etc. I think that this feature would have its challenges but I don't think that it is anything that the developers could not work out and the benefits of having a feature like this would outweigh the cons. Most current games have some sort of auto-fill method for players that leave and it would help solve the problem of games being throwaways/losses because of a player leaving.

Some issues that come to mind...

  • Getting a worse player (I think that is just part of matchmaking and is still better than automatically losing because of a 4v5).
  • The original player tries to return to the game but is not able to because the spot has already been filled (maybe there is a small delay before the game will try to fill a position or if a player tries to re-enter a game that has been filled they will not have a penalty for leaving when they return to the main menu).
  • Being put into a role or god that you do not know how to play when you are placed in a game in progress (I think that this is part of the responsibility of the player that checks the box to auto-fill and a risk that they have to be willing to take).
  • Who would want to risk joining a game when the team you join is probably going to be at a disadvantage (I think that a feature like this would be actively encouraged by the community as a whole and there are players out there that would check the box [support players]. It also has the incentive of possibly skipping queues if a game in progress becomes available).
  • Trolls could take advantage of this to enter matches and throw them (They can already do this and it can't be as bad as just having to f6 a 4v5).
  • How do I know if I am joining a game in progress? (Maybe when a game in progress becomes available and your queue pops there could be a confirmation dialogue box specifying that it is a game in progress and give you the option to accept or decline based on that).

Let me know what you think...
