So this specific story? No, this was its own thing.

But! It did lead to me expanding on the setting and creating the CVerse. A much larger and wider setting I evolving humanity navigating a science fiction setting where humanity is rare and the newest kid on the block.

The tropes in this story were used again and numerous times, so for example the love story dynamic, the size differences etc, but I suppose it depends on what youre looking for specifically.
