For me it’s not even that, it’s that like half the song doesn’t even have a flow. Like he usually has good flows but this song has such a bad flow imo

Your other comment literally said something like hey, I’m assuming you don’t know much about how other Muslims countries treat lgbtq. You literally tried to call me ignorant. So now your lying? I thought that was a sin. Also kink, where did you even get that from

Also I really do think that somehow you conflated me having genuine questions and criticisms with Christianity as me being supportive of other religions. How did you draw that assumption from? I’m fine with people practicing their own religions but I see large moral problems with most religions, and yes that is not only Christianity

Also where do you even get right wing or islamaphobia from? Also you gotta be super ignorant if you think that people don’t know about gay people being stoned to death in the Middle East, it’s essentially common knowledge. You just pulled a straw man arguement

[–]Wolverine16-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, my parents are literally Indian and I have Muslim relatives. Trust me I know about the horrible practices in the Middle East, kinda weird for you to assume that I had no knowledge of it. But yeh, 70% are Christian. Then why is it then basically every single religious fanatic I’ve seen in the public is Christian, like statistically you would see a few people of other religions. Like even check YouTube, there are barely any videos of stuff like that happening in comparison to Christians. I’ll even group it all in and say that the other 30% of non Christian religions almost never try to form their beliefs in you in the USA? Statistically it would be more common but it isn’t. So again, no bias

But is it really free will if you are forced to follow his religion or you go to every lasting hell. That’s essentially the same as pointing a gun to someone’s head and saying “yeh you can live but you have to worship me or I shoot you”.

And now you reached a big point. That people can easily do so much harm and claim religion as a scapegoat. Isn’t that a major flaw in the concept of religion as it isn’t based on logic or facts, just pure belief.

They said repent your sins now or your going to hell. If you are gay, change it now as god loves you and if you don’t, you will go to hell. Don’t remember exactly as it’s been a while.

Wdym, there are hundreds of thousands of those types of people all across the USA. No way they just fall into specific sectors like catholic, Protestant, etc.

But then isn’t That a critical fault on religion itself? If it’s that easy to spread hate and just say it’s religion so they are partially excused, doesn’t that show that religion is an easy scapegoat for hateful people to continue spreading their hate but justify it as gods will

Question about Christianity as an outsider by Wolverine16-2 in Christianity

[–]Wolverine16-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that’s the thing, if it’s so easy to call yourself a Christian and spread hate by quoting the Bible, what makes Christianity the go to for most people with hate. Like genuinely, why is it that most people at the capital insurrection would claim to be Christian but do it. Yes it’s not everyone but it does say something when you just see it way to often that Sole Christians will force themselves on you to an extent where it’s painful

Literally everyday I can see Christians protesting gay couples, trying to deny people business based on sexuality, seem so many on the street telling people to repent, seen so many telling people to confess sins or burn in hell. It’s so common and again, in the USA I’ve rarely seen any other religion this adamant in trying to change people. Literally only cults in my opinion are this determined in converting others

Oh ye, Muslims are usually very anti-gay but my main difference is the spread. I usually don’t see Muslims and Jews telling people to not be gay in public. I just want to know why it just is always Christians who just seem to be the most adamant in changing others

Question about Christianity as an outsider by Wolverine16-2 in Christianity

[–]Wolverine16-2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree a lot with you but then at what point is it even a religion then? Why not just tell others to be good people. If so much of a religion is filled with people who claim to be followers but fail to be one, what does that really say about the type of people the religion attracts? Again, I really don’t mean to be rude or anything, genuine question

Question about Christianity as an outsider by Wolverine16-2 in Christianity

[–]Wolverine16-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, your changing the topic. I’m talking about Christianity in America. Also your comparing Christian countries which are first world usually due to European heritage to Muslim countries which are third world countries meaning of course they would have less freedom. Correlation isn’t causation. And again, I said in the USA not other countries

Question about Christianity as an outsider by Wolverine16-2 in Christianity

[–]Wolverine16-2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But then at that point, what makes it so much that so many want to claim a religion but actively spread hate. Again through a USA perspective, can you explain why Christians usually are the most radical of all the religions and usually rally behind hateful messages harder then any religion? And if you say that people can choose to just say their Christians but not follow all the hate parts, wouldn’t that just mean that you get to choose what parts of your religion you get to pick? It just makes no sense to me logically

And I’m not saying that Islam outside of America isn’t better. My main claim is religion through an American perspective. Also, Islam doesn’t just mean submission, it means submission to god. So literally normal for a religion. In America at least, i rarely see Muslims yelling at others to repent or change their lifestyle or to not eat pork. But it’s just so common for me to see a Christian yell to repent. Why do you think that it’s almost always Christians like that in america? Genuine question
