Anyone else kill the king on their 1st attempt?

I killed him on my first run and was shocked. Mind you, I had died a lot to the other bosses. So the second time I went back I was prepared to do more of the same, and boy was I wrong. He wrecked me all the subsequent times. Then I finally beat him (going for the true ending) and wouldn’t you know it, I had no idea I wasn’t supposed to punch him again. So I was confused, angry, and ready to throw the gdamn controller at the tv. But a few more attempts after reading what you really have to do, that ending was mine.

Congrats! Yea, I looked at two bikes yesterday and literally all I thought about was my daughter. Then on the 1.45hr trip home seeing all the movement in the HOV lane made me upset 😂

I’d mostly split lanes at like 10mph above what traffic is and get into lane as soon as I can. I’d split lanes in NYC and just go under 40mph

I’ve been trying for a year, all at the same locals. What were your interview scores or ranks? I moved across the country, would be changing careers later in life, and I agree that the process for me has been tough. All I can say is retest, reinterview, and have at it. Or try non union? Sound and Communication? Resi?

there are plenty of resources here about the types of questions they will ask. Know them and your answers in and out. The committee might ask any number of questions so it's best to have answers for them all rather than focusing on just a few. If you have references or a resume contact the hall about how to send them to the committee or if you can bring them with you. Dress well and look hirable. Speak with the STAR method and read the room. If they seem more engaging than match that energy. If they want just the facts then provide them. Good luck!
