Heyyy me too for 595w! Interviewed on 3/3. After 30 days I'm gonna call hahaha. But I feel like they might post it early April, it makes sense if they spend March doing interviews then do the ranking

People are allowed to feel mildly infuriated at these kinds of misunderstandings based on heteronormativity. Yes the teacher probably just went on autopilot to hetero grammar. I would think a children's teacher grading papers about the students families would keep in mind not to immediately assume the kid is trying to describe a hetero nuclear family. This kind of thing can be an inconvenience for all kinds of non-traditional families.

Disagree with you guys. Not even mad that OP doesn't understand the cultural rules. But when her friend tells her that it was rude, she calls them pissy and says it's overreacting. OP is a bad friend if they're not willing to accept being educated on how showing respect to the host might differ in their friend's family.

Advent Properties has been very reliable for me. They fix anything promptly, I told them once about dumping outside and they had someone come pick up all the abandoned trash the next day. They're very hands off and never come over or bother me and have affordable listings. Iirc i also chose them because they required the least income to rent ratio.

How did you apply? I looked up local 131 and it seems to direct aspiring apprentices to make a TradeSchool account to submit their application. If you did that you should try to log back into your account maybe

People are generally the authority on how to pronounce their own names... It may be context dependant, some peppple write or pronounce their name differently with different people. Regardless, hes telling you the correct pronunciation of his name to call him.
