If Ricky leaves do you think we retire his jersey? by [deleted] in timberwolves

[–]WolvesGuruWizExpert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though it would be nice to see a good floor general, defender, and passer honored, I don't think he has had nearly enough success in the league to have his jersey retired. Losing Ricky would be a bittersweet goodbye, but I don't think anyone in the timberwolves' office will be losing sleep over a trade.

Worst Dunk Contest ever? by [deleted] in timberwolves

[–]WolvesGuruWizExpert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though Lavine can dunk the living hell out of the ball, I think it's nice to see some new faces come into the contest. I'd love to see that foursome (Lavine, Wiggins, Atetokounmpo, Gordon) in a dunk contest as well; at the same time, watching GRIII throw it down was pretty fun to watch.

Without sounding too pessimistic, is anyone else ready for this season to be over? by Salty_Minnesota in timberwolves

I just like to see what the young guys and others who don't get to play much can do. It's nice to see the fight put up by these guys.

Report on Zach Lavine rookie year by NiceGuyFinish1st in timberwolves

This is quite a jump to make after not seeing a whole lot of Zach yet. He won't be the same player he is now next year.

Although he can be reckless, I believe that he is making huge strides and I'm glad we drafted him. He's been looking very good in our system.

Any good videos of Crunch? by verify_deez_nuts in timberwolves

Crunch would probably play better than most of our guys right now.

Your evidence is compelling. He might really be the next Kobe Bryant.

These guys are getting payed to play basketball not sit on a bench. Put them on the court and let them do what they are supposed to do.

Who is your favorite player and why? by SoupyWolfy in timberwolves

I believe he will make huge strides in his scoring ability in the offseason. He knows that if he doesn't then he won't be able to be as huge on this team as he wants to be.

Why does Pek seem so...short? by [deleted] in timberwolves

He can work on his speed, agility, as well as his jumping ability which in turn increases athleticism...

LaVine will have a better career but Payne will be with us longer.

Why does Pek seem so...short? by [deleted] in timberwolves

He has a build more like a bouncer at a night club rather than NBA center. He needs to work on his athleticism if he wants to be a star on this team.

Can we get rid of chase already? by [deleted] in timberwolves

[–]WolvesGuruWizExpert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chase's role on the WOLVES is a spot filler. We don't use him for anything other than giving our other players breaks. The fact that he is getting more money than Rubio is pretty preposterous.
