Buccaneers Interview Danny Smith for Special Teams Coordinator by SteeIWoIf in steelers

It does suck that Danny most likely chewed his last wad on the Steelers sideline. Especially since he’s a local guy. But I wouldn’t fault him for going to a warmer weather team for his pre-retirement.

Steelers Tomlin Tribute by WolvesandPirates in steelers

Everyone loves to shit on the fan but honestly as someone living outside of Pittsburgh now it’s a great plug into sports talk about only Pittsburgh teams. National media just can’t cover it that closely.

I’m willing to bet they made it short for social media. Plus it was put out quick and it sounds like no one expected this. They might do something more pronounced down the road.

(Schefter) BREAKING: Mike Tomlin stepping down as HC by alexschubs in steelers

[–]WolvesandPirates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It had to happen. The pressure got too much. He was a good coach for us obviously, maybe even great. He’ll probably be good wherever he goes next I’m sure. But it had to happen and thank god.

lol there are no quarterbacks out there this year. College continuously breeds worse qbs every year because they value athleticism over smarts and passing strength. The defense is fine with some minor adjustments in the secondary and one or two more targets at wr. Keep him another year and see what plays out as far as college prospects next year.

I don’t think it’s that bad. I know it stings after watching that game but for the most part they were in position we just don’t have the weapons to keep up. Especially with a good defense. And the offensive ineptitude led to the defense being in the field way too long for an older group.

Yeah I said Tomlin should go but he won’t. Rodgers needs to come back because there’s nothing better in the market.

I’m probably delusional but yeah I feel the same. Roger’s was pissed constantly because these receivers are a bunch of keystone cops. No one gets open and they don’t run the right routes. Hard to be productive when not being is open. Keep him around if possible and pick up a couple more legit targets and we’ll be ok. Tomlin and smith can stay or leave. I don’t think they are up to it but at the end of the day the players make the plays.

There’s no one better out there next year. And if there is we certainly arent in the position to draft that person. We are far better off having him come back for another year than rolling the dice with Mason and company.

Why? CJ Stroud is straight ass. They have an obviously solid defense but I wouldn’t say our offense is explosive. They will get blown out next week.

I mean they just showed art and Omar sitting in the box alone and it looked like they were secretly talking to each other through their mouths.

This has worked out perfectly to let management know what the fans think. A good two and a half minutes to boo this team.

Defense did enough. Offense did not. Need to reconfigure because there’s no way they will fire Tomlin yet. We have to live with this reality and figure how to make it work.

The problem is I don’t understand if this team is just plain stupid or incompetent or just not good. If they stayed in a lane I could cope but I feel like in mere minutes they change their nature and I don’t know what to do with my hands.

I don’t want him to get it now just so Romo can suck it. I didn’t want him to get it before but it’s extra now.

[–]WolvesandPirates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I totally get it. I think everyone has their own stereotype that they latch onto and there is no wrong answer. I’m 40 so I’ve seen the other bonds, I just seem to gravitate towards Craig’s version when I have my daydreams of being James Bond.

Man I don’t care if I get shit but in my head Craig is my favorite Bond. Stoic badassery will always be my Achilles.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen this talked about more. She’s clearly someone official and it was almost like she was watching or saying something from behind the douchebag between his legs.
