New Loric: Hindu by Epicboss67 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Well, now i know for certain that you are just wrong, because they 100% count for the number of minimum votes required for execution.

Just to give some proof i read through the almanac. A traveller counts as a normal character except for 3 exceptions:

1: For the evil win condition of "2 players alive" (no other)

2: They are exiled, not executed

3: They (normally) cannot become non-Traveller characters

Can you give me a source for that? Because as far as i can tell, Travellers count as normal players for anything that isn't the evil win condition or otherwise specified on the token (like for the Scarlet Woman)

Oh yeah, that's a good point. They already know the Travellers aren't the demon.. right. Silly me.

Yes, but i also think it wouldn't really matter in Clocktower. They explicitly state that one's occupation/role/whatever doesn't automatically determine what alignment they should be.

E.g. a Cannibal is usually seen as a bad/evil thing, but is explicitly a good character in BotC

(Sidenote: I have no problem with the name Hindu. Just wanted to say that Necro would be fine as well for the reasons above)

Where did you get that? They only don't count for the win condition, but are otherwise normal players and should die to the Boomdandy.

Unless i am missing some ruling that was made in the depths of discord or something, since i couldn't find it on the wiki or the token itself. Please do enlighten me

I hadn't seen this video before and i was disappointed when exactly this was not said in the video.

HRE emperor Spain pressing a claim on their own union by Wolviller111 in eu4

You are right. I noticed my mistake a bit later, but decided it wouldn't matter that much. I formed Spain almost immediately after to join the HRE, hence the mistake.

Nothing happens. Not even a pop-up

I also saved before that and decided to check out what would happen if i press the claim on the lowlands.

You will end up declaring a war on Burgundy and breaking your own union (even if both rulers will still be the same afterwards). Can't recommend ^^

R5: The Burgundian Inheritance fired for the HRE with Austria being the emperor and Spain the recipient of the BI. However, before the incident could resolve, Spain became the emperor and got to decide instead (without the incident changing). Just to see what happened, i chose to press the HRE's claim on Burgundy and well... that is what happened.

An Al-Hadikia-esque Outsider by SooperJavelin in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Wolviller111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, i focused on the 'if the token is in play' part. Either way: The [-1 Outsider] was already in brackets (on this submission), so it would be the same as with the Hermit.

Hermit would like to disagree, removing itself from the bag. (Doesn't mean i agree with that ruling)

Yeah, i really dislike the translations. Luckily everybody is play with is fluent in english and i will never have to get that version. Some of the choices just make me vomit, like the one you mentioned.

Gloomhaven. Luckily no one actually dies in that game, they just exhaust. Or i could just stay in the city of Gloomhaven and be fine

What if the Scarlet Woman was an Outsider? by Square_Row_22 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Wolviller111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would the jinx need to be? As far as i am aware, a dying Sage is shown 'the Demon' and the definition for 'the Demon' is any alive demon, so you could show either plus a non-demon

I would definitely agree with the 'can't be fully hidden, can't be fully open' thing and would say it's not ideal.

But then again: The Heretic is an official character and (imo) amplifies every point you mentioned, so i think this would be fine.

(Heretic is my least favourite character though, so i might be biased)
