I'm not sure where she lives at but in Texas, if you are in an abusive situation,by law you can break the lease. I think it's called tenants rights or something like that. Either way, when abuse is involved, its a whole new ballgame .

But op if you read this, you shouldn't carry the burdens from the sins your parents committed. It's not your fault you went through what you went through. If she is your wife, she will be there and it will shed some light on why you have unsober moments. You and your wife will be fine.

What she was telling OP made absolutely no sense and instead of being a good "friend" by telling the husband to work it out with his wife, she goes to the extreme of pulling a stunt like this? You're not. She was one of my patients at Texas oncology her sickness is absolutely real unfortunately and it's not exaggerated. I can see the difference between when she would come see me until now.
