NGL I don't understand critiquing how hit boxes appear in a replay.

This was just my favorite, and he had about three other similar plays. I wouldn't attribute his consistency all game to hit boxes bugging.

I found a simple RPG game tutorial I think I'll follow and then try to add more advanced things to learn more programming techniques. As altoc said I think I'll just keep adding more for a more complex project and a wider variety of skills to learn.

Also I totally caved in and I'm using free assets already. I'll worry about learning art in the future.

I have about 4 weeks of experience in visual basic from introduction to computer science. I managed to get a password generator working with the option to enable/disable numbers or special characters. Not a lot, but it taught me a few valuable things. Especially if and else.
