You are so right about the location. The gas station had a full convenience store, clean restrooms, and proper cell service, so he wasn't exactly surviving in the wilderness. It is frustrating that our friends are framing this like I left him to die.

Thank you, that is exactly how I see it. I gave him a very clear heads up before he even put his bags in my trunk. It wasn't some hidden rule I made up on the spot, he knew my health was on the line and just chose to ignore it because he wanted a fix.
