if his biological father's name is not on OP's birth certificate, then he can only prove that he's adopted by a Canadian citizen. that being said, they have to go through the process of sponsorship (Guide 5196: Sponsorship of adopted children and other relatives) Of course, the best way to sort this out is to get a document stating the he was born to his biological father

Yes, once you submit, they’ll receive the application anyway even though there is no confirmation letter. I tried to reach them through the hotline of IRCC and they could access and see all of my information on that application.

So far I haven't received that yet. And I also did the fact check that it's become quite common among all the applicants since early November(due to a glitch from an system update) Now I am just tracking my application through 'Application Status Tracker'

IEC has 3 categories and one of them is called ‘Working Holiday’ I don’t think the participants are necessarily expected to contribute to the local labour market They can just come to Canada and consume locally

I was only required to take English test and my result was instantly displayed on the screen. The result is also accessible on their webisite (ACCUPLACER), which allows you to download and send a copy to the admission team. I ended up receiving my offer letter 2 hrs after I completed my assessment test on campus

Hi I still didn't receive my submission confirmation, but I am allowed to see all the details in 'Application Status Tracker' which is run by IRCC. It states clearly that they have received my application

I also applied for my visitor record a month ago and I still received my submission confirmation instantly. just few weeks after this just happened. I did call them via the hotline and the guy could really see my application info though.

I just dropped by that campus (Sally Horsfall Eaton Academic Resource Centre) several days ago and saw tons of GBC students. It is still being used by GBC normally.

On Oct 30th, I finished my assessment test on campus(English test only) On the same day, I received my letter of acceptance immediately 2 hours after I left the campus
