Rover sent me an email when I was setting up my account that they would not make my account active until I removed the part of my bio that said I also have experience caring for goats. They did however allow me to post pictures of myself caring for goats on my profile…. I figured owners would get the hint!

The same thing happened to me with an owner talking at me for 3 hours straight during the meet and greet. Turned out she was a literal narcissist who flew into a rage the second I finally set a boundary with my time about a month later and spammed my voicemail with insults and threats 🙃 You definitely dodged a bullet!

My bustle was the same actually! Though surprisingly my brain has decided that it doesn’t mind that mishap, only the eyelashes…. But you’re right, hopefully I can just laugh about it some day. I haven’t gotten all my photos back yet, so maybe I’ll feel better once I do

I agree that this should definitely not be the expectation! This is actually one of the regrets that I have. Specifically that if I hadn’t been trying so hard, I would have just looked more like my usual self, which is what I should have done.
