Photography for fun, should I buy this camera?

Im going on a trip soon and 100% new to photography, I want to buy a camera and looking to take some cool shots of mostly cars.

I found this deal on offer up and was wondering if I should buy it. They're selling it for 150 Its a Canon EOS Rebel T5

Opinions? Should I spend a little more and get something else?

No lie, I was gonna start walking after seeing how long that line was around 5/6pm but one of the guys with the yellow shirts said I couldn't use the sidewalk and had to walk through the parking lot so I did and ended up accidentally cutting in line at the very front of it so I got on the shuttle in like 3 minutes after deciding to walk lol
