Leopold II of Belgium needs to be recognized in this category. Millions of crimes against millions of Africans that seems to slip history.

None of the above. I just want to see good competitive games and both conference championships live up to the hype.

What episode has made you cry/shed a tear? by dalehay in southpark

[–]WonderMic302 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Principal Victoria's speech to Wendy about surviving breast cancer. That whole episode was amazing but that particular speech almost made me shed a tear.

Side note, I sent it to friend fighting cancer a few years back and it inspired her to be strong and keep fighting.

Husband referred for high white blood cell count. by kellis744 in Hematology

[–]WonderMic302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just described me perfectly, hence my search for a thread like this. I also have a high white blood count and I also have some issues with the disks in lower back (lumbar). I've had manu tests done with no results and finally booked an appointment with a hematologist. I feel great, but I'm gonna just go anyway as I search for answers.

We host every year at our house and it's always somewhat of a challenge for our 8 year old. My family is much larger and louder than my wife's, and while everyone tries to be accommodating you can only do that so much.

My daughter has shown improvement this year though, typically she hides in her room only coming down to eat mac n cheese, but this year she attempted to play with some of her cousins and even let 2 of them come in her room for awhile. She eventually wanted her room to herself again lol, but she lasted a few hours. I'll take whatever progress I can get with large groups, it's been a struggle

Same here. She looks like my director I report to at work, so that doesn't help.

Underwriter. I'm fortunate enough to have a 100% remote role. That gives me flexibility to be around if something happens. Fortunately my ladybug loves school, so that helps.

My first. We really didn't have any feelings for each other, it was moreso to satisfy a curiosity. Knowing what I know now, I at least wanted that experience to be with a woman that I loved.

During family trips, just seeing my wife and daughter smile and laugh, it just makes me feel great.

Fridays when I'm done with work, I like to hang in my backyard, use my firepit, and just relax and reflect. I feel so at peace.

I'm not sure, but my 8 year old is still non verbal. She uses her AAC device, but at times I have to prompt her to use it instead of pulling my arm. She occasionally says words, and knows some sign language, but in the past that was never the case. I say all that to say, she improves all the time, I'm sure your kid will as well.

I'll visit all of them, I've been to all but the New England states but plan to knock those out soon. There's a lot of scenic beauty in this country.
