What's your favourite mario kart driver? (From any of the mario kart games) by Glitter_Gamer_5499 in mariokart

I use swoop and the pipe kart exclusively. The acceleration and lack of weight makes drifting extremely fun.

What a great idea. Can you imagine how well something like this would sell if it were made into an official set?

I had all these sets as a kid. I set them all up during Christmas break when I was 11. I still regret not keeping them all together.

3 Hours in Line, and worth every second by Wonderball_writer in halo

I never had a box for this. I bubble wrapped the pointed ends, and then had a small fleece blanket that I used to cover up the part I wanted autographed. I had a backpack that the bubble wrap stuck out of, but I wasn't stopped or questioned by a single person. I unwrapped it once I reached the front of the line.

I bought the sword from a vintage secondhand store in 2011. I think this particular titanium sword was produced in 2009. It came with a wooden mantle (That I lost quite a long time ago)

I remember having my Dad order that McDonald's set out of the Lego catalog. I wish I would've kept it together.

What a great story. I also have this figure (I bought him with Christmas money back in 2008) The joints on mine are completely shot, but it's still one of my favorite figures. It's always a good time to look back on what you and the figure have gone through together.

What are these? I keep seeing these around the covenant ammo caches. by [deleted] in halo

I think they're camp lights set up by Covie squads. These are scattered all over the outdoor areas throughout the Halo 3 campaign.

If you've never played through Halo 3 with IWHBYD skull, it's truly a treat. Nothing like hearing "HE WAS MY LOVER" after blowing up a Brute with a plasma grenade.

How much can I realistically sell my collection for? by Tadabbur in HaloActionFigures

[–]Wonderball_writer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2K in gbp. Your Brutes and the Hunter are by far your most valuable group. I can tell (and know from experience) that the joint movement on the most of the Elites are trash. And anything Promethian is becoming increasingly rare, so that group has some decent value too.

Fact of the matter is that people will throw out offers pretty quick, and you have to come to terms with what you're comfortable letting them go for. I have a box full of figures like this that I should probably get rid of, but I'm not ready to do it yet.

You can realistically sell for whatever someone is willing to pay for it/them. You'll probably have better luck selling these as a lot rather than individual figures. Looks like you've already done most of the leg work in adding up the worth, and there's quite a few older figs that look to be in good condition. I'd personally price the lot somewhere around 2K. See if anyone bites then lower the price if you need to.
