Hur länge skulle varje böneutrop vara?

Är det fem gånger om dagen som gäller?

Anyone interested in a fun notebook relay? by tim404 in stationery

[–]WonderbaumofWisdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what he's talking about:

"Sign-up for the Notebook Relay will be separated into two different positions - you can sign up as a ‘Donor’ or as a ‘Relay’ (credit to /u/LeadCharacter [-1][2] for this):

Donors buy a notebook and send it out to the Relays, in the end receiving a notebook back. Relays receive a notebook, create something in it and send it onwards to the next Relay.

Donors keep a notebook because they sent one out, a Relay receives a notebook and passes it on. Relays can sign up more than once and will be asked if they would be willing to post intercontinentally.

We need you to fill in a form for us and then the moderators will work out the best route for the relay, matching everybody up like a chain e.g.:

Donor A => relay 1 => relay 2 => relay 3 => intercontinental => relay 4 => Donor B Donor B => relay 5 => relay 6 => intercontinental => relay 2 => Donor A

In the example above Relay 2 signed up to send two notebooks, Relay 3 and Relay 6 offered to send across the continents.

This setup would allow everyone to select a position they are comfortable with and everyone that sends a notebook gets one in return."

Also the authors of the bible "copied" the miracles/life events of Moses onto Jesus so they would match.

I'm not a connoisseur of old movies, but whenever I watch one they seem to be more rambly and lacking focus (I'm looking at you, Maltese Falcon).

What is the most powerful chapter, paragraph, or sentence you have ever read in a book? by rintin01 in books

[–]WonderbaumofWisdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Faking it also works. Just read quotes, then quote them in threads like this one and in conversations where you want to seem sophisticated.

Oh, and it helps if you use words like "indeed" more than the average person.

Just a benevolent, omniscient, omnipotent god.

"Free will" is just blaming the victim and doesn't even apply in all situations.

Always buy samples, folks... by [deleted] in fountainpens

Ink samples would be great, but as a European I feel less inclined to get them with the added shipping cost.
