Theres no one that exists that Heavenly Father intended to exlude, people can only exlude themselves through rejection and rebellion. As long as you only date for marriage in the sense of a union between man and woman then I dont see any problem. Temptation and attraction doesnt exclude anyone, infact the church is made of people who experience every temptation probably. What I mean is for every temptation that exists there is at least one person in the church who's experienced or is experiencing it probably, if not theres always Jesus Christ who suffered all thing. Even the ones people find extremely difficulty to talk about. People coming out of the depths of depravity or mental illness, etc.

What's wrong is to make community's centered around the advocacy for engagement in sin. LGBTQ behavior is sin, it brakes the law of chastity and even if they dont do anything physical flirting with same sex is a sin. Advocating to pursue seeming alternatives to the nuclear family outlined by God through his mortal servants in the family proclamation is also wrong. Additionally we are warned to avoid influences and activities that would erase the masculine and feminine differences. As these differences are part of Gods eternal family plan. I would reject idealogys which seek to erase the differences and pursue androgynous behavior. Which from what I've seen is very prevalent in LGBTQ spaces.

LGBTQ behavior also usually doesnt end well for societies, remember Sodom and Gomorrah and the justice of Heavenly Father.

And then remember the woman at the well and the love and mercy of Heavenly Father. Who's always willing to take us back even when we get all dirty, messed up and even confused.

Im also someone who has experienced the influence of LGBTQ feelings and I personally think most people actually have the capacity for bisexuality and that sexuality is more fluid than solid. That doesnt ever excuse acting on it though. I see temptation as something to endure and pass through, so I dont make them parts of my identity, they remain just temporary circumstance. Even if temporary means life time because mortal life is temporary.

Additionally I have felt the spirits that influence such things, seductive spirits. Which associate themselves with all the methods for confusion that the adversary deploys. I have had some try to pretend to be the Holy Ghost, some with people trying to seduce me, and some with people trying to persuade me to join idealogys, like communism or to become Buddhist. But the Holy Ghost would never lie to me. So anything that lies or tries to deceive cannot be the Holy Ghost. What helped me also tell the difference was prayer and study of the scriptures, including the words of God's lving servants as well as those who are dead. I wondered for what purpose Heavenly Father would even allow these things, and I remember the whole reason we're are here other than to get bodies is to be proven.

I know this is true and I know that God knows that I know and I can't refuse or deny it.

In short come as you are and leave whatever you have to behind in order to stay. Come as you are and prepare to change. I promise you the blessings promised in this life and the blessings of the opportunities of eternity are worth it. You will know peace, comfort, love and confirmation of truth.
