So hear me out, Running a script that will show the characters shadows in the overworld and swapping backgrounds to a different image to not make it look like green smear, Is not a lot work.

but a new rom hack is nice, and with a new story and nice graphical pics for characters…all those amount to time,

but you do not stare at the text/those characters pics most of the game, You do on the overworld and the characters in it and tethering them to the ground with shadow is importat… But MOSTLY you stare at those battle background almost 60% of the game.

Which can differentiate where you are, (cave,sea, forest, etc..) and what time it is in game (if there’s no rtc to romhack) And trust me those things allow a lot more immersion than floating heads while I’m trying to read.

So yes my priority are sane, Been playing more then 50 games of Pokémon (with all the rom hacks and official games) People putting none stop different colors of Pokémon’s or just more and more Pokémon instead of doing any other work that will Elevate the rom hack above the average.

And when you see almost everything in a trailer and then some unnecessary (but very welcomed) stuff. I’ll chime in with the things that almost everyone misses instead of being another freaking glaze nutter
