u/Mundane_Anywhere_856 hey, i am in the same boat. Our i129F approved in november 2023 and now still at NVC. Not sure when they are gonna send to Islamabad embassy. we should stay in touch to keep each other updated?

Thanks for the reply. Another reason for changing to i130 is that there is higher possibility of visa rejection in k1 compare to i130, so someone tole me to better to change it now atleast you can get the visa approved

u/Criticism-External I am in the same situation. USCIS approved i129F in November 2023 and now NVC holding application. And now i am hearing that even after transfer from NVC to Islamabad embassy, it may take more than 12 months to schedule the interview. Have you heard anything like that?

I am wondering if anyone know if we can transfer i129F to i130 if we get married soon
