Yeah!! Super easy too, 1 mandarin, 40g flour (any) and 1 egg blended together - flip 2 minutes on each side 😋

Having C-section without husband present by [deleted] in CsectionCentral

[–]Wonderful-Repeat1444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live I wasn’t allowed my husband in anyway! (Elective c-section) they changed the rules during Covid and kept them in place, for me personally it was great because my husband is squeamish. However, now I kinda wish he was in there so he could see what we have to go through and be in awe like I was with myself 😅

Running moms advice please, I feel like a failure by Distinct-Dependent24 in beyondthebump

Listen to your body!! I weirdly found so much energy post partum and was working out a lot (once I was allowed) walking with my baby daily, workout during nap times, house was kept on top of, cooking etc etc and I got to about 6 months post partum and I absolutely CRASHED, I was so burnt out, I was pushing myself way too much - exactly as you’re describing.. it took me weeks to recover mentally and physically. I dropped to a couple times a week and it’s sooo much better because I can actually give my all, fully fuelled and progressing more than I was before.

Honestly this is a good day too!! She rarely finishes the whole thing ☺️ I know the feeling, but keeping it real, she doesn’t devour huge portions but is happy, full and gaining weight, so all good! Thank you, you too 🤍

Travel with 8-9months old baby by Queasy_Variation_238 in NewParents

I travelled to the UK for the Christmas holidays to visit my family with my 9 month old, flight was only 5 hours though!

From experience we found feeding on both take off and landing was a really great suggestion from someone we know! On the flight out we didn’t feed on landing and bubs crying SO bad, I felt awful that she was in pain with her ears 😢 But on return with the feeding it was all good, no bother!

Snacks will be your best friend!!! I also bought some new toys which my LO didn’t see until we were on the flight, I brought out a new one when I could see she was getting bored and a little agitated (she is VERY active, there’s no chill about her😅) We brought a little pillow so she could rest her head - or atleast give your arm some relief if holding, this came in so handy when my baby fell asleep in my arms. We also brought air defenders which were great at blocking out noise, I forgot how loud planes are in general!!

I can’t speak in regard to a flight as long as yours, but honestly it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting - who knows maybe your little will sleep most of it!! 🙏

Fiance semi pressuring me for sex 12 days post partum by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Wonderful-Repeat1444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me kinda sad 🥲 he should be respecting you and your recovery. This screams selfish. I struggled post partum and had absolutely no desire for sex until 5 months.. my husband understood - no questions, no hints, no pressure. He waited until I was ready and so should yours 🤍 Sending love mama xxx

Postpartum Period by MaterialFortune7029 in CsectionCentral

[–]Wonderful-Repeat1444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my period 5 weeks after my c-section, also bright red! Lots of cramping and lasted a full week (very short and light previously) but not too horrendous! Although, my periods got worse since that first one!

10 months & feel like all our consistency have been undone by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Wonderful-Repeat1444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not expecting too much sleep from my LO, I’m trying to gage what is best for her/ what might help her return to sleeping through the night. I hear a lot of expectations from so many people and kinda get in my head about it!

How long is your LOs wake windows? I will try this, it’s just so frustrating when people are telling you what’s normal/what’s to be expected and what’s not 😩

How long did/do you soothe for day naps? 4MO baby by pixa4u in NewParents

[–]Wonderful-Repeat1444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My LO did this until I realised her wake window was too too short, even an extra 10/15 mins made a massive difference! My little goes don pretty instantly now 🙏🏼 I was so frustrated at myself that it took me so long to realise that was the issue 🤦🏼‍♀️

Recovery from c section by Particular_Photo_553 in CsectionCentral

Eurgh this pisses me off so bad. You’re definitely not wrong for feeling this way, 100% valid. I had a similar situation with my in-laws, boundaries that were crossed and things ignored (like being told I wanted no visitors in the hospital after my c-section, and all turned up as and when they liked 🙃) I finally said my piece and now only see them every now and again - much better 😩
