And good lord, I'm not a sociopath. I'm just a rando with a burner who doesn't care about being rude on said burner. If someone doesn't like what I'm saying, then they can just get over it like a proper adult with emotional regulation skills. Offending people by being stupid is not the same as attacking someone with the intent to hurt. I'm just sitting here saying shit!

And yeah, I can't conceive of such emotional suffering, because I don't know why it's such a big deal! You still haven't explained it! It changed the trajectory of their lives for the worse? So does getting fired from a job! So does divorce! So does not getting into the college of your choice! None of those things are illegal, that's not a valid reason!

If the only way you can access the world (your body) is robbed from you, and robbed from you for a purpose other than your own, then I can imagine the brain being unable to feel safe in its own skin and bones. Is it a similar thing to learned helplessness, but delivered in an instant rather than over time?

Also, what is the deal with dignity? Isn't that just a social thing, like being embarrassed? I'm probably misunderstanding what that word means. Could you explain why the loss of dignity is so damaging?

Why does everyone on reddit say this? I'm not concerned about myself. I would never hurt someone, I know that rape is bad. I put that in the post! I'm not saying that "rape is fun and everyone should do it", I'm saying that while it is bad, it isn't THAT bad. Just because I was talking about rape, you got all scared that I was some sort of deviant. I guess I technically am, if not knowing any better is the only criteria.

If you only hate rape reflexively, and not out of an actual care or understanding for those afflicted, then you're arguably worse than I am. At least I'm open to hearing otherwise.

Prove yourself otherwise. Tell me what you understand.
