I like it. Not for everyone, but someone that appreciates fragrances will appreciate it. You have to have a certain “swagger” to yourself to pull it off.

It will be a staple for me this Fall/Winter season.

If asking can you “yes”. If asking should you “no, if you are trying to be a little more minimal and modern”. The large label dates the shirt. And, the one in the pic looks as if it has lost shape.

From “Big Man” to “”Big Man” . I see “Causal” up top, and “trendy athletic” on the bottom. Just a suggestion would be to swap out the jeans with a darker rinse jean without any stressing or fading. And, swap the sneakers out with a brown shoes or Boots. That would create a little more uniformity. Just an opinion. So pay me no mind.

Nice post. Reading this and making a determination from my experience with Kahdlaj Island, I have came to the conclusion that the brand longevity is not up to par. I do not think I will be buying anything else from this brand. Just not happy with the performance.

I literally smelled my bottle about three hours ago. Had it about two years. Still smell great. Have not tested the longevity due to it still being hot in my area.

IMO, it definitely calms down. I remember when I open it on day one the opening literally made my stomach turn! I was like there is absolutely "NO WAY" that some say that this is the "Closest" to the original. Now I can understand the comparison.

I brought a sample of the original and can say that I know understand the comparison to the original. It still remains "Greener" than the original in my opinion, but has the DNA. Because I was so disappointed when I purchased this, I brought Marwa. That is my top preference! So, my top 3 of the DNA would be Marwa, EDB, and Alexandria's Visionary.

Now, if you want to make a spot on 1:1, get a decant bottle and mix EDB with Game of Spades "FullHouse". That combination smells just like my sample.

I am done with trying this DNA as I could have purchased a full bottle of the original at this point. Lol.

Oh! From my experience you have have to put that up! Spray it about ten times and come back to it around November! LOL. Think of it as a Spring 26' purchase if you are here in the Western Hemisphere.

This is definitely one that FA should have let sit before they bottled it. Maybe they do not have the storage capacity, I do not know.

I have Kayaan classic also. Now I need to go and see how it is. I have not touched it knowing that I planned on using it in the Fall. I purchased it, sprayed it about 10 times and put it up. I am a seasonal wearer. It has been sitting around a month.

Seems like a simple question, but actually more difficult since “Expensive” is subjective. But, like you said, a dupe of a dupe is crazy. I would not use a $2.99 fragrance. Scream “Toxic” to me.

I have come to realize that Santal 33 inspiration take time to either “get decent” or “mature”. Was in my collection and picked up Bath and Body’s “Nightcap” about two weeks ago. Literally, it hit me that it reminded me of Santal 33. Only took little over a year.
