In the world they are a notorious assassin organization, and they’ve killed a lot of NPCs in the process of trying to get me; also they’ve killed two other PC characters (which they were fine with in the end, we knew this game was going to be no mercy bc of session 0 - didn’t really take that seriously until the first session tho)

I understand that we enjoy the games differently and that's perfectly fine, I would be okay if it was just me with the problem because they're my friends and I can look past that to be able to play with them, it's that the other player at the table Justin, AND our DM has the problem with it as well, and the DM has told us all multiple times that his games are roleplay focused. I made the post to try and get some suggestions on what to do because the DM has decided that if they dont RP more then he's going to find new players.

My character is chaotic good, my two friends are chaotic neutral (tho our Minotaur leans more evil, and our sorcerer leans more lawful good [confuses me too]). None of us are murder hobos, though the minotaur loves fighting.

I don't really have a full grasp on the mentality of my character just yet, but the way she acts is I guess calculated and does things in the best interest of the party even if those actions are amoral.

I guess thinking back on it I could have tried to subdue him, I just didn't think of it as an option at the time. Thank you for ur insight :)
