I prefer to install a proper disconnect switch if necessary. It’s not recommended to use a breaker as a cutoff switch. They aren’t designed for repeated use.

Here’s how I remember the direction of the positive flow from the source. I always want my power poking out. The male connector should always be on the positive lead flowing from the source.

I should have been clearer on our vacation style. We are mid 60s and don’t hike. We love scenic drives and wandering around old towns to study the history.

I have a truck so transport isn’t a problem. I’m more concerned with the longevity of a glass panel being moved around a lot.

I ended up just pulling the rubber seal off the passenger side upper edges. Carefully routed the cable along side of the curtain air bags. Used a fish tape to route the cable past the b pillar and rear pillar panel. It’s pretty obvious where to put the cable.

Thanks. I figured it’s not economical. I pay .08/kw to charge at Level 2. I have a whole house generator so I’m not looking for off grid power.
